Tell us about yourself.

Before starting in the fitness industry, I studied as a professional ballet dancer. I left my little town and home with family when I was only 11 years old to learn that discipline. Determination, hardworking and passion has always driven me, even at that age. I learned early on how to work with my body, feeling my muscles, been on stage, dieting and dealing with the competition to get a good part in shows. I was a tiny ballerina, but a lot of time I was also considered too muscular.

At the age of 17 years old I decided to lift heavy weights at the gym just for fun and explore something else. Wow! For the first time in my life it was a positive point to take on muscle mass!

I am now a Fitness model and own a supplements store / private training Studio in Montreal named Equilibre Performance Nutrition. I am a published athlete and mother of one beautiful little girl. I have been a proud Magnum Athlete since the beginning of 2014.

Outside of fitness and business, my biggest role is to be the best mother I can be for Mia. That’s the biggest privilege in life!

I’ve still got a strong interest in all different kinds of shows like dance, musical comedy, theater, etc. A part of me is very Zen and I love to retreat by myself to meditate, I also enjoy cooking ( alone or with my girl ) and I’m dreaming about traveling more where I can feed this part of me!

What are your favourite exercises and areas to work out?

I don’t have a specific area I like to train the most. It’s more about where I must train the most! But if I had to narrow it down, I would say Deadlifts are one of my favourite exercises!

Some of you asked me to share what I’m doing exactly in my quick stretching/Yoga sessions at home 👈🏼 this is one of them. The reasons why I was not taking videos it’s because most of the time I need to be really efficient (lack of time alone) and because I just don’t want to look at me at this moment 🤷‍♀️ I’m one of those who takes videos of me to visualize my technique but #6weekspostpartum I know lot’s lot’s of things are weak and don’t look like I do Bikram Yoga for over 13 years 🤣🤣(amateur and recreational level) But at that point this is not a big deal ☺️Usually I’m super flexible, with a good proprioception and good control of my overall alignment 👈🏼 it’s just a strong point for me with the dance background... So ... at that point I just don’t want to juge me 😊 and I’m encouraging you to do the same few weeks post partum ❤️ just reconnect with your body and muscles ❤️ So here I can see what I was feeling to make sure you pay attention to those points ☺️😉
🔎 my thoracic spine doesn’t move, no arch in thoracic so I’m having lots of trapezius tension in my movements
🔎 my flexibility is hard again
🔎 I’m lagging in the plank position. We can see the arch in the back by not engaging the abs 😉
🔎the difficulty to let my heels down when my hips are up ... etc.

It makes me feels good and helps me to release tensions! 🙏🏻
