Tell us about yourself.

Growing up I always had a love for an active lifestyle. Playing competitive fastball, figure skating as well as coaching. I also grew up racing cars that go 180MPH, 7 seconds in a quarter mile – I LIVE for anything fast!!

I spend most of my time training my clients, or with my doggies.

What are your favourite exercises and areas to work out?

Well, I could list a ton, but I will try to stick with my top choices!
BB Glute Thrust
Squats
Rack Pulls + Deadlifts
Shoulder Press (DB, Military, Arnold you name it)

Why do you choose Magnum?

I was introduced to Magnum when I first started competing through my posing coach, who was a Magnum athlete. I started using Quattro, Opus and Heat, eventually Volume and DNA too. I was able to see firsthand what these products could do when combined with dedication and hard work. MIMIC: Love this product because it helps utilize carbs as energy. Also helps push carbs into muscle cells, in turn helping give you a bigger pump, and gain lean muscle. I take this with ALL carb meals, and all cheat meals x 2 LOL

PRE-FO: I am obsessed with this pre-workout. Not only does it taste INSANELY good, it gives me some SERIOUS energy and focus. I also get an amazing pump from this product too

PRIMER: It’s a one stop shop and gives me everything I need in one little package. I can take this rather than going and buying a multi, digestive enzymes, omegas, etc, and there are so many other benefits, hydration, brain function…etc

What are your goals for the future?

My biggest goals are to enhance and grow my health and fitness business. I thrive on helping other people make positive changes in their life, creating a much more confident person inside and out.

What advice can you give to anyone that wants to take control of their health?

You control you, and you CAN achieve absolutely anything you set your mind too. REMEMBER to have patience, be consistent and give it time. Nothing happens overnight, and your mindset really is everything.

Its taken a long time for me to fully show, especially due to having a long, and strong core. Although my doctor would say this is a good thing, it actually stressed me out. Especially because people would say oh wow your x weeks pregnant you don’t even look pregnant at all, or omg you are so tiny to be pregnant, or the most hurtful, are you sure your eating and listening to your body (🙄🙄) annnnd even though my OB / doctor continuously told/tell me I am growing perfectly, with all ultrasounds and tests coming back without concern, I was often left wondering if something was wrong with me and in the back of my mind I wondered if the baby was even growing. TBH I’ve done nothing BUT listen to my body, and change in every single aspect of my life. Thinking about nothing other then doing what needs to be done to have a healthy strong little girl.

This is why you should NEVER listen to other people or compare yourself with anyone else, in any aspect of life! 
Every body is different. It’s clear baby J is growing strong, and in these last few weeks gaining healthy fat just as she should!
.
So I’ve been MIA because I didn’t feel like listening to people make assumptions about how I was going about  my pregnancy, even though that’s exactly what they were assumptions.
.
So here’s a little update - I’m still working out at least 5 days a week and cleared to keep at it. Still eating healthy (no not contest prep style) just heathy in general, w a variety of foods! Up 25 lbs and realizing more then ever that the female body is the MOST amazing and beautiful thing EVER!!!!
.
Whether your pregnant or not, don’t compare yourself physically, mentally or your life situation to anyone else’s, EVER! I never listened to the noise before, so I’m not sure why I let it affect me now!

I’ve never posted these pictures before because I was far too embarrassed about the weight I’d put on in 2006, then to the unhappy and unhealthy person I was in the middle (2008).
.
Growing up I was always physically active. I grew up figure skating competitively, playing travel baseball, and running track, and field. I started with a personal trainer at the age of 12!
.
2006 - freshmen 20, drank, ate, stopped working out, stopped playing sports and gained a lot of weight. Weighed over 170lbs.
.
2008 - drank, ate 1 meal a day, did random cardio, and was unhappy. I weighted 115lbs which I got to in a very unhealthy manner.
.
January 2019 - no drinking, no partying, worked out consistently, enjoyed running, and maintained 135lbs - I ate intuitively, and by no means deprived myself - yes I had competed several times prior too, but maintained this conditioning long after competitions ( 8 months after ), also sustained an injury, and had surgery.
.
June 2019 - 27 weeks pregnant and I weigh much less than I did in 2006, and likely won’t weigh what I did then at the end of my pregnancy.
.
As a coach, experience is everything. I’ve lived both over weight and under weight and I know personally it’s not easy to make health and fitness changes to your life, especially long term. But I also know that nothing in life is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, and difficulty.
