Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. — Name Our New Protein Powder Contest
1. Contest Period
The Contest begins on August 7, 2026 at 1:00:00pm ET and ends on August 21, 2026 at 12:59:59pm ET (the “Contest Period”). Entries received outside the Contest Period will not be accepted.
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. We will, under no circumstances, accept an entry or collect personal information from any person that we know to be under the age of 18. The Contest is void in Quebec and void where otherwise prohibited by law.
Employees, officers, and directors of Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc., and their respective affiliates, agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, child) or household members of such employees are not eligible to enter.
Limit one entry per person. If multiple entries are submitted from the same email address, only the first submitted entry will be counted, and all subsequent entries from that email address will be disqualified. Multiple entries from the same individual using multiple email addresses or identities will also be disqualified.
3. How to Enter
No purchase necessary. During the Contest Period, eligible entrants may enter by:
- Submitting a valid email address at www.magnumsupps.com/pages/name-our-protein/
- Verifying that email address;
- Accessing the landing page via the unique link provided, which presents contest details and formula information about the new product; and
- Completing and submitting the entry form, which requires a proposed product name, supporting rationale, and answers to any other required questions.
Before submitting an entry, entrants must check a box confirming that they (i) have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, (ii) are a resident of Canada, excluding Quebec, and (iii) have read and agree to these Official Rules. Entries submitted without this confirmation will not be accepted.
Entrants may separately opt in or out of marketing communications; doing so has no effect on entry eligibility. Upon successful submission, entrants will receive a confirmation email.
4. Selection of Winner
Entries will be judged by a panel of Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. representatives based on the following criteria: originality (33.3%), relevance to the product (33.3%), and brand fit (33.3%), which includes the judges’ assessment of the name’s apparent trademark and brand availability. The entry with the highest combined score, as determined by the judges in their sole discretion, will be selected as the winner. Judges’ decisions are final. In the event of a tie, tied entrants will be asked to answer a mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance, to determine the winner, as required by Canadian law.
This Contest is a test of skill and judgment. No random draw or element of chance is used to select the winner.
5. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a one (1) year supply of Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. protein powder, consisting of sixteen (16) two-pound tubs. This quantity is calculated based on one (1) serving per day for 365 days, divided by twenty-three (23) servings per two-pound tub, rounded up to the nearest whole tub (365 ÷ 23 = 15.9, rounded up to 16). The winner may select their preferred flavour(s) and protein type(s) from Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc.’s current product line, subject to availability. If a selected flavour or product type becomes unavailable, Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. will substitute a comparable flavour or product type of equal or greater value. Approximate total retail value: $1,280 CAD.
The prize has no cash value and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
The prize will be shipped by mail to the address provided by the winner within Canada only; the prize will not be shipped outside of Canada, and PO boxes are not accepted as a delivery address. Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. may, in its sole discretion, ship the prize in a single shipment or in staggered or monthly installments. Only standard shipping will be provided for the prize; expedited, priority, or overnight shipping will not be offered. Standard shipping costs will be borne by Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc.
6. Winner Notification
The potential winner will be notified by email within three (3) business days of the winner selection using the email address provided at entry. The potential winner must respond within five (5) days of notification, correctly answer the skill-testing question (if applicable per Section 4), and sign and return a Declaration and Intellectual Property Release Form (to be provided by Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc.) confirming eligibility and assigning all rights in the submitted name as described in Section 7, in order to claim the prize. If the potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the required time, fails to sign and return the required release, or fails to meet any eligibility requirement, Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. reserves the right to select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries, or to not award the prize.
The winner’s name and winning entry will be publicly announced at a time determined by Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. in its sole discretion, following completion of the Declaration and Intellectual Property Release Form and Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc.’s internal review processes.
7. Use of Submitted Name / Intellectual Property
By submitting a name, each entrant grants Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use, adapt, modify, register as a trademark, and commercially exploit the submitted name and any associated ideas, in connection with the product and Magnum’s business, without further compensation, credit, or approval from the entrant.
Entrants represent and warrant that their submitted name is original, does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property or other rights, and is not obscene, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate. Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates this section.
Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. is under no obligation to use any submitted name, including the winning entry, in connection with the final product.
8. Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner consents, without further compensation, to the use of their name, city/province of residence, and entry (but not other personal information) by Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. for advertising and promotional purposes related to this Contest, in any media, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
9. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and, where separately consented to, for marketing communications, in accordance with Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc.’s Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and provincial equivalents). Entrants may withdraw marketing consent at any time.
10. General Conditions
This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Meta, ByteDance, Google, xAI, or any third parties other than Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc.
Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest should a virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond its control corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of the Contest. Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process.
Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or garbled entries, or for any technical failures of any kind.
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Magnum Nutraceuticals Inc. and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of the prize.
This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
